Bergerac and Duras Wine Competition – 2026 Edition

Celebration, tasting and awards in the heart of an exceptional region.

In our vineyards in Bergerac and Duras, the terroir takes centre stage. The region offers a variety of wines comprising no fewer than 17 appellations, divided into five categories: Red, Rosé, Dry White, Sweet White and Fortified White. Every year, a competition is organised to showcase the best of our terroir. Alongside passionate winemakers, we had the pleasure of presenting our wines.

During the event, restaurateurs, wine merchants and winemakers gather under the organisation of the Interprofession des Vins de Bergerac et Duras to taste and award distinctions by appellation and by type of wine.

We are proud to present our results.

• A Gold Medal for our new release, the Périgord IGP “Le Chenin, Les Copains”, the first vintage from 2025 and already award-winning – what wonderful news! A lively and balanced dry white wine, with a nose revealing notes of citrus, made from Chenin with a touch of Sémillon.

• Gold Medal for our dry white AOP Bergerac, a blend of Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle. Aromatically intense and refined on the palate, it reveals notes of yellow fruits such as peach and mango. Stay tuned ! It will very soon be sporting a new label and a new capsule.

• Silver Medal for our dry AOP Montravel sur lie, a vibrant wine of great finesse. Its aromatic complexity reveals notes of citrus and exotic fruits, making it the perfect accompaniment to seafood and cheese !

• Bronze Medal for our AOP Bergerac Rosé, which stands out for its freshness and lovely length on the palate, with aromas of strawberries and raspberries. It is perfect for hot summer days and summer meals. Just like the dry white Bergerac, which will soon feature a new label and a new capsule.
