Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec.
(aged for 12 months in oak barrels).
Tasting:
A lovely nose with notes of vanilla and ripe red fruit. The palate is supple and round on the attack, with a beautiful structure and a spicy finish.
Serve at 14-15°C
Terroir: Clay-limestone slopes.
Agreements: Grilled ribeye or prime rib, duck breast with figs, beef bourguignon, lamb tagine with apricots and almonds, risotto with ceps and chestnut pieces, 18 or 24 month Comté cheese.
Storage: 5 years and over.
Capacity: 75CL.
